COVID-19: Our Response

To our valued customers,

ToyotaLift Northeast has implemented policies and swiftly begun following best practices to deal with COVID-19. We have taken a proactive and serious approach to minimize the spread of illness. We are following suit to the guidelines set by the CDC, as well as adding our own precautions.

All seven of our branches are still open and prepared to offer uninterrupted service to our customers. We understand the critical role our products and services have in the material handling industry. More importantly, the material handling industry boasts an essential function during this time; therefore, we’ve implemented policies allowing us to function safely and effectively.

The first proactive step ToyotaLift has taken has been to educate our staff on the topic so they can quickly identify possible symptoms, properly practice social distancing, know how to prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, and learn effective handwashing techniques.

We have also increased the frequency of sanitizing all high-touch and common areas. Consistent with CDC guidelines, all employees have been instructed to stay home if they, or someone in their family has fallen ill.

We are limiting access to our buildings from outside personnel and visitors.

We developed procedures for safe on-site equipment repair and maintenance. A key component of these procedures is on our customers to assist us in providing adequate space for our technicians while at their facilities. This includes equipment deliveries in designated areas.

ToyotaLift will immediately notify our customers if we were to have a confirmed case of COVID-19 and expect the same courtesy in return.

Even more than ever, our goal is to ensure the well-being of our customers, vendors, and employees and to continue to provide you with a safe and professional experience.

Stay safe and well,

Tom Edwards
